Jen Bervin Jen Bervin, poet and visual artist, was born in Dubuque, Iowa, in 1972. Her books include A Non- Breaking Space (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2005), Nets (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2004), and Under What Is Not Under (2001). Her current and upcoming exhibitions include &;Five Contemporary Visual Poets&; at The Wright Exhibition Space in Seattle and &;Many Happy Returns&; at High Energy Constructs in Los Angeles. She teaches at New York University, Pratt Institute, and is an editor for jubilat. She lives in Brooklyn and is currently a fellow at The Camargo Foundation in Cassis, France.
